Privacy policy

§1 General provisions

1. This Privacy Policy defines the principles of processing and protection of personal data obtained via the www.ledline.pl website

2. The administrator of the personal data contained on the website is LEDIN SPÓŁKA Z OGRANICZONĄ ODPOWIEDZIALNOŚCIĄ SPÓŁKA KOMANDYTOWA (hereinafter referred to as LEDIN) with its registered office in Ostrołęka, ul. Kołobrzeska 15 lok. B, 07-410 Ostrołęka, entered in the Register of Entrepreneurs kept by the District Court for the Capital City of Warsaw in Warsaw, XIV Economic Division of the National Court Register under KRS no.: 0000580373, NIP: 7582278888, REGON: 141680103.

3. Data protection is carried out in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons in relation to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and the repeal of Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation), also known as RODO.

§2 Types and purposes of personal data processed

1. LEDIN collects and processes the following information about the User:

a) name and surname

b) company name c) address data (postal code and town; street with house/flat number)

d) e-mail address

e) contact number

f) VAT number

2. Users’ personal data is collected for:

(a) the performance of the contract for the provision of services (i.e. order processing, billing, order-related communication). The legal basis for the processing of this data is the necessity of its processing for the performance of the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) RODO).

(b) the handling of complaints and other claims (i.e. warranty, guarantee, returns and other claims related to the cooperation). The legal basis for processing this data is the legitimate interest of LEDIN (Article 6(1)(f) RODO) to secure information about the cooperation (order history, communication with LEDIN, payments) in order to handle possible claims.

c) analytical The legal basis for the processing of this data is the legitimate interest of LEDIN (Article 6(1)(f) RODO) to use analytics for internal reporting and to improve the quality of the services provided.

d) LEDIN’s targeting of the User with information and marketing content. The legal basis for the processing of this data is the legitimate interest of LEDIN (Article 6(1)(f) RODO) consisting in the provision of requested information and marketing content in the form of newsletters, i.e. messages sent electronically containing information on current promotions, offers, competitions and industry news. The processing of your data for this purpose only takes place if you have consented to receive it.

3. Users’ personal data are used for contact related to the provision of our services and the processing of orders. We also contact you for information and marketing purposes (e.g. newsletter). We need your data for analytics and if we need to provide after-sales services (e.g. technical support, warranty).

§3 To whom is data shared or entrusted and how long is it stored?

1. We store your personal data for as long as it is necessary for the above purposes or until you object to its processing. Your objection does not affect our storage of your data for the purpose of fulfilling our accounting and tax obligations, for as long as they last, and for reasons of legal security until the statute of limitations for possible claims.

2. In connection with the services that external entities provide to LEDIN, these entities may gain access to your personal data. These entities are service providers, including IT services, postal operators, couriers, payment operators, consultancy and legal service providers and other subcontractors.

§4 Cookie mechanism, IP address

1. The cookies used by the Administrator are safe for the User’s Device. In particular, it is not possible for viruses or other unwanted software or malware to enter the Users’ Devices via this method. These Cookies allow the software used by the User to be identified and the Website to be customised for each individual User. Cookies usually contain the name of the domain from which they originate, the time they are stored on the Device and the assigned value.

2. The Administrator uses two types of cookies:

(a) Session cookies: these are stored on the User’s Device and remain there until the session of the respective browser ends. The stored information is then permanently deleted from the Device’s memory. The mechanism of session cookies does not allow any personal data or any confidential information to be collected from the User’s Device.

b) Permanent cookies: these are stored on the User’s Device and remain there until deleted. The end of the session of the browser in question or the deactivation of the Device does not cause them to be deleted from the User’s Device. The mechanism of permanent cookies does not allow any personal data or any confidential information to be collected from the User’s Device.

3. The User has the possibility to restrict or disable the access of cookies to his Device. If this option is exercised, the use of the Website will be possible, except for functions that by their nature require cookies.

4. The Administrator uses Cookies for the following purposes:

(a) Service configuration
– adjustment of the content of the Website pages to User preferences and optimisation of use of the Website pages.
– recognising the device of a User of the Website and its location and appropriately displaying the website, adapted to his/her individual needs;
– memorising the settings selected by a User and personalising the User interface, e.g. with regard to the chosen language or the region from which a User comes,
– remembering the history of visited pages on the website in order to recommend content,
– font size, website design, etc…

b) Authentication of the User on the site and ensuring the session of the User on the site
– maintaining a session of the User of the Service (after logging in), thanks to which a User does not have to re-enter his/her login and password on each sub-page of the Service; – correct configuration of selected functions of the Service, enabling, in particular, verification of authenticity of a browser session;
– optimising and increasing the efficiency of the services provided by the Administrator.

c) Performing processes necessary for the full functionality of the websites
– adjustment of the content of the Website pages to User preferences and optimisation of use of the Website pages. In particular, these files enable recognition of the basic parameters of a User’s Device and appropriate display of a website, adapted to his/her individual needs; correct operation of the partner programme, enabling in particular verification of the source of redirection of Users to the Website.

d) Remembering the User’s location
– correct configuration of selected functions of the Website, enabling, in particular, adaptation of information provided to the User taking into account his/her location.

e) Analysing and researching as well as auditing viewership
– creation of anonymous statistics which help to understand how the Users of the Website use the Website’s websites, which enables improvement of their structure and content;

f) Provision of advertising services
– to tailor the advertising of third-party services and products presented via the Website;

g) Ensuring security and reliability of the Service
